If you’re looking for a creative outlet to relieve stress, try painting. You don’t necessarily have to stock up on your own art supplies – just do it the hassle-free way by going for an art jamming session. These art jamming studios in Singapore offer sessions with materials fully provided, and you won’t even have to do the setup or cleanup yourself. Some of these places even throw in a free drink!

1. Café de Paris – $24.50 for 3 hours in a cafe


Combine the great things of food and art together and you’ll get Café de Paris, where you can paint your next masterpiece with complimentary drinks such as honey yuzu and honey jujube. Available for add-ons are also an assortment of pies, waffles and brunch fare to munch on during the session. 

Jammers will get unlimited use of acrylic paint, brushes and stationery alongside art materials like palette knives and sponges for more interesting textures. Each session is priced from $28 per person on their website or at a discounted $49/two for a three-hour session when you book from Klook

2. Splat Paint House – UV art jamming in the dark


Unlike your everyday art jamming studio, Splat Paint House is the only splatter painting studio in Singapore where you can paint with squirt bottles, syringes and even water guns.

They’ve got daytime art jamming sessions (from $39), but if you’re looking for something truly different, try their UV painting parties ($70) where you’ll be equipped with kid-safe, non-toxic fluorescent paint to splash onto your canvas.

3. Wildflower Studio – paint with cats at $32 for 2 hours

Canvas? Check. Paint? Check. Furry cats? Didn’t see that coming, but yes please.

Art jam with not just your instructor and friends, but with furry companions as well at Wildflower Studios, a home studio in Khatib owned by local author and illustrator Amanda Cho. Open only on an ad hoc basis on weekends, this little studio is where you can let loose with a canvas, acrylic paint, a complimentary drink and most importantly, three friendly cats.

4.  Boulevart – $35 for 2.5 hours

At Boulevart, art jams are priced at $35 per session for 2.5 hours, with free reign over supplies and tools.

You can also level up your art skills with their range of workshops, where you could learn how to paint using different mediums, from watercolour to metallics and even fluid art – where you add a couple of pre-mixed colours into your cup, and pour them onto your canvas. No two pieces will be the same!

5.  Heartroom Gallery – $38 for 2.5 hours

With art pieces decorating the plain white walls in the studio, Heartroom Gallery is as much an art gallery as it is a painting space and classroom. You can bring your own food too, so you can fuel your mind while painting.

These 2.5 hour art jams are $38 per session, but they’ve got guided art classes too – from manga drawing to even chinese brush painting.

6. My Art Space – $55 for 2.5 hours with fruit juice and wet paint carrier


Overlooking a pool, My Art Space provides a spacious environment for deep thought and inspiration, right in the heart of Orchard Road. You’ve 2.5 hours to create a masterpiece with the provided materials – all for $55. Also thrown in are a wet paint carrier and fruit juice.

7. Arteastiq – $48 for 3 hours with free beverage

Arteastiq is as known for their art jamming sessions as they are known for tea. Their 3-hour art jam sessions ($48) include a canvas, an unlimited supply of art materials, and a free drink. Take your pick from coffee, tea or an array of alcoholic beverages which are available at a top-up.

While sessions here are relatively pricier than at other studios, they have daily promos – for example, 1-for-1 art jamming with your significant other on Mondays ($36/person), and discounted prices for ladies on Wednesdays, just to name a few.

8. Artify Studio – $25 for 2.5 hour sessions


An indie studio snugly hidden in Jalan Sultan, Artify Studio has Liberty Art Jams that run for 2.5 hours per session, with all materials provided. What’s special about this place is that they have off-peak unguided art jamming sessions with flexible hours, so there’s no need to rush for fixed classes.

While it initially followed a pay-as-you-wish honour system with a recommended fee of $35, prices now begin from $25, with an additional $10 for an extra hour.

Don’t worry about getting dirty while painting either, they’ve got toilets with shower facilities just in case you get a little too carried away.

9. LionHeart Studio – $45 for 2 hours with free-flow drinks, pastries and aromatherapy

Apart from the large canvases and standard art materials, LionHeart Studio has free flow hot drinks (coffee or tea), aromatherapy oils to get you in the mood and even pastries for you to munch on as you paint.

2-hour sessions cost $45, but you can also book a LionGroup ($175 for 5 sessions) or LionKings ($300 for 10 sessions) package so you save while scoring more art jam sessions.
