If new-fangled EDM music leaves you with a pounding migraine, #throwback to the days of Mambo ditties with Capitol Singapore’s Mambo To 2020 New Year’s Eve countdown party.
Taking place on 31st December 2019 will be 1 party with 3 different destinations – namely Capitol Theatre, Outdoor Plaza and Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, where you can expect a hip and happening retro disco, an outdoor skating rink, plus food and drinks galore.
From chowing down on German, Thai, Italian or Spanish fare to boogying with your loved ones while DJs and a live band perform, here are your NYE plans sorted:

Blast to the past at Capitol Theatre as tunes from the roaring 80s and nostalgia-inducing 90s fill the breezy end-of-year evening. Prizes are up for grabs in a lucky draw, as well as to award the best-dressed attendees who show up in retro garb.

Keep your energy levels high through the night with themed drinks and bar grub. Priced from $5++ onwards, there’ll be burgers and hot dogs with tributary names such as “Godfather” and the classic “New Yorker”.

Say goodbye to the woes of 2019 as you let loose on the Outdoor Plaza’s skating rink and usher in a brand new decade. A guest DJ will be pumping up the party with mambo jams, and there’ll be lucky draws as well as drinks galore leading up to the midnight countdown.
There’ll also be attractive prizes to be won in the form of shopping and dining vouchers, and even Grand Deluxe hotel stays at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore, amounting to over $3,500 altogether.
Admission to the skating rink is $6 per pax, and you’ll be able to rent skates ($6), skating aids ($6) and lockers ($2). Those who swing by sockless will be able to purchase a new pair on-site for $2.

Those who have traversed through the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski stretch know that it’s home to a multitude of different international cuisine options, all under one roof. Whichever tickles your fancy, feast on sumptuous German, Thai, Italian or Spanish fare as a live band takes to the stage for rousing serenades.
