Music Gives Back: Voices – A 100% Music Charity Concert on 26 December

About Music Gives Back: Voices

“Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most.” – Ruth Carter Stapleton

Christmas is the season of giving, and what better way to do so then with a charity music concert! Music Gives Back – Voices promises a wide range of acts from different genres, including pop, jazz and even opera. With special guest appearances, prepare yourself to marvel at the wonders of the human voice.

A 100% charity initiative, all proceeds will go to beneficiaries of HCA Hospice Care and its StarPals program, a registered charity which provides support and comfort to those with life-limiting illnesses, regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, nationality and financial status.

About A Few of the Acts

School of Music

Founded by Sheikh Haikel and his wife Anna Belle Francis, School of Music has an array of talented students, trained in various styles like pop, hip-hop, jazz and more.

Amanda & Nelson

An indie singer-songwriter duo, this pair has been making rounds singing at pubs and other night spots.

ESO Symphony of Singapore

A budding non-profit orchestra established in 2011, they have performed in prestigious places like Gardens By The Bay and Esplanade, and have also done charity concerts and flash mobs.

A Noble Cause

HSA Hospice Care provides home care for individuals with life threatening diseases. Providing individualized care, however, can be rather expensive, and funds are required to keep operations going at an optimal rate. Their partner program StarPals provides care for children with life-threatening or life-limiting circumstances, helping not just to comfort them, but also to provide ease to their loved ones.

Their annual financial reports are readily available online, so you can be sure that any moneys received will go towards the care of their patients.

Ticketing Details

Organized by a group of Singaporeans with a heart for society, the concert will be on 26 December 2014, Friday, at NUS University Culture Centre Hall, 7pm.

Tickets are already available and can be found at Sistic, starting at only $18.
