Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring. If you and your partner have been indulging a little too much, this class will teach you how to cook healthy dishes without compromising on flavour. 

Dishes you’ll learn include: Quinoa and feta salad, Salmon and leek parcel, as well as Grilled peach with home-made vanilla ice cream for dessert. Coincidentally, these yummy dishes are also gluten-free, perfect for those who are gluten-intolerant.

6. Ichijyu Sansai – Japanese home-style cooking

This course is suited for the most beginner of home cooks and will teach you how to make stock and steam rice amongst other culinary basics. “Ichijyu sansai” translates to “one soup three dishes” which is a typical Japanese meal of soup, a meat/fish dish, and two vegetable sides served with rice. 

They even have another class where you can learn how to make healthy bentos to bring to work.

7. Bread course – $35 trial baking class

Anyone who’s baked bread at home knows there’s nothing more comforting than the smell of freshly-baked goods wafting through your home. Learn to work with yeast and dough to create a variety of sweet and savoury loaves that can last you for breakfast through the week.

If a class package is too much commitment, you can attend their trial class for $35 where you’ll learn how to make Cinnamon Rolls and Ham & Mayo Bread, before you decide.

8. Savouring Old Hokkien Flavours – ang ku kueh and seafood lor mee
