Staying in a shipping container hotel is a novel experience, so it’s no surprise that previous pop-ups at the likes of Downtown East were quickly sold out. Now The Container Hub is making its home at the site of many of our childhood nightmares – Haw Par Villa.
Blending into the greenery of Carpark C, this new staycay spot is selling out fast, so here’s what you can expect when booking a stay here:

If you’re a thrill seeker, staying overnight at Haw Par Villa might just be an experience you’d want to tick off your bucket list. Though encountering a friend at night isn’t guaranteed, you’ll still have the chance to spook yourself out with a visit to the attraction.
Located in the carpark of Haw Par Villa, the container hotel is a short walk away from “hell” that comes in the form of the newly opened Hell’s Museum ($10/child; $18/adult) and 10 Courts of Hell.

Just because you’re staying in a container, it doesn’t mean that the facilities are limited. Fully equipped with an ensuite bathroom, a kitchen, pots and pans and a two-door fridge, each suite will allow you to whip up meals and have hot showers in comfort.

With two queen sized beds in each container, the containers are perfect for a comfy stay as a small group, whether it’s your closest buds or your fam. In line with the current restrictions, a maximum of five are allowed and extra beds are available at an additional charge.

If you can’t do without your doggo to scare off any unwanted “guests”, the hotel is pet-friendly too. Each one comes with a private outdoor seating area, and you can rent a grill from the hotel to have a BBQ party during your stay.
