It’s that time of the year when the moon is at its brightest and we’re all looking forward to snacking on delicious mooncakes with our families over the weekend.
But this year, the mooncake season comes with another cause for celebration: Hello Kitty’s 45th anniversary. Come 7th September 2019, the two will converge at the Hello Kitty Run 2019 for an evening of fun activities for the family, traditional mooncakes and scenic views at The Meadows, Gardens by the Bay.
It may be a mass fun run, but you can warm yourself up at the pop-up carnival village aptly named ‘Hello Kitty Moon Town’ before embarking on the 5KM route. There’ll be plenty of games to play such as ‘guess the riddle’, as well as interactive activities like an LED lion and dragon dance.
An activity you shouldn’t miss is the Tea Appreciation Session that comes with delectable mooncakes – something families and friends of all ages can bond over. And if you’re among the next 1,000 registered participants to sign up, you will get an exclusive mini Hello Kitty Mooncake.
Your Instagram feed will also be taken care of for the night, once you discover the Hello Kitty photo points at the carnival area. So make sure you come prepared with your most kawaii pose.
Don’t worry about being slowed down by all the activities along the way – every finisher will walk away with a medal in hand.
There’ll also be a goodie bag of runner merchandise for runners to collect a week before the race on 31st August 2019 and 1st September 2019.
After you’ve donned your exclusive Hello Kitty Moon Walk t-shirt, light up your very own Hello Kitty LED Lantern and experience Mid-Autumn festivities the traditional way.

Even if you’re not a running enthusiast, you may just find the beginner-friendly Hello Kitty Run right up your alley. With a slew of activities at the Hello Kitty Moon Town carnival, you can celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with a healthy run and activities to tie you over for the night.
