L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Review

Looking younger than your age

All women want to look younger than their age. I used to worry more about how to keep my complexion clear and healthy and less on the aspect of ageing. I guess I just didn’t want to admit to myself that I was getting older.

As I’m now in my early 30s, I have to start to paying more attention to anti-ageing. When did I get all these wrinkles around my eyes? Unfortunately this is a part of mother nature that we can’t avoid.

So although we have to eventually confront our fears, we can also help reduce the process of ageing as much as we can, and at least hold on to our youth for a little longer.

Luckily my L’oreal goodie bag came to me in the nick of time!

About L’Oreal Paris Revitalift

The box consisted of products from the REVITALIFT with DERMALIFT series. Essence, eyecream and night cream. These were exactly what I wanted!

The new REVITALIFT anti wrinkle and firmness series is said to be enriched with repairing power for optimal anti-ageing efficiency. L’Oreal laboratories selected Centella Asiatica, known for its extraordinary repairing properties to repair and regenerate skin from the inside.

Centella Asiatica is known for being a miracle herb with remarkable healing properties that encourages collagen synthesis for skin regeneration. In India, it has the nickname of Tiger grass because wounded tigers are known to roll themselves on the herb to treat their injuries.

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Review

I tried the intensive repairing essence first.

The dropper was very easy to handle. You can easily control the liquid unlike pump bottles.

You can spread it widely using just a little drop. However, the liquid absorbed quite slowly and I felt the texture was too watery and couldn’t really feel the nutrition over the liquid. Beside the absorption I think it is okay in general.

Let’s try the eye cream now!

There was no sealing cap on top, minus point for that 🙁

“REVITALIFT will let you feel tangibly firmer lids, fewer wrinkles and less puffiness.” That’s what all the eye cream products say right? I didn’t expect a lot from this eye cream actually.

But I’ve been using this eye cream for the last few days and I find it amazing so far. My eye skin area is very sensitive, I can’t even use random brand eye creams because they may cause side effects. The same goes for my eye make up remover. But this product really gives you instant moisture, mild yet effective results.

Night cream was something I really wanted because my Santa Maria Nouvella moisturizer just ran out. For your reference, my skin type is dry to normal in Singapore. When I was in Korea especially during the winter time, I can’t imagine myself without using facial oil or heavy moisturizers. My skin was extremely dry back then. After I moved to Singapore, thanks to the moist weather here, my skin is now not as dry as in Korea. However, I still need to apply powerful moisturiser to my face through the year.

Red pretty case, I opened the cover and tried it on my hand. You may want to use a spatula as the texture is heavy.

The heavy creamy texture is suitable for night time usage. I bet this could be a bit greasy for those who have an oily skin type. However, despite its heavy texture, you will be surprised how fast your skin absorbs it.

I would recommend REVITALIFT with DERMALIFT series for those with normal to dry skin type.
