11 SG52 Deals At Marina Square To Save Money While Waiting For Your GST Voucher

Marina Square’s NDP promotions

National day is right around the corner, and it’s one of our favourite times of the year for 2 reasons: the National Day Parade with its spectacular display of fireworks, and the island-wide sales to celebrate this special occasion, on top of the ongoing GSS.

It’s no secret that we Singaporeans can’t get enough of sales, so here’s a rojak-like mix of even deals we’ve sussed out from Marina Square, because we’re kiasu like that:

1. Healthy meals at Munch Saladsmith for $5.20

It’s a common misconception that healthy food means ‘rabbit food’ – think plain salads with no carbs or protein to fill your stomach for long. Not all healthy food consists of just greens and seeds though – Munch is offering their Vegan, BLT, and Chicken Mayo sandwiches (U.P. $7.80 – $8.40) that are of toasted wholemeal brown bread and stuffed full with a variety of fresh vegetables for you to get your carbs and protein guilt-free.

Note: The promotion is only valid from 1st – 9th August 2017.

Unit: #02-226A/226B

Telephone: 6469 3536

2. ‘Refill’ your Bak Kut Teh with a 1-for-1 deal at Rong Hua

Free soup refill is something worth rejoicing for, and Rong Hua Bak Kut Teh has just that. Those who prefer their bak kut teh to be more peppery would enjoy bowl after bowl of Rong Hua’s piping hot soup. And the offer doesn’t just stop there – have 2 regular-sized Pork Ribs Soup ($7.50) for the price of 1 until 9th August.

Note: Promotion will take place during the week of National Day.

Unit: #02-201

Telephone: 6469 3536

3. Bao Today’s Curry Chicken Noodles at $5.20

Feast on all of Bao Today’s items that are originally priced at $6.80 for just $5.20 each, like the crowd favourite Curry Chicken Noodles that is generously served with large chicken wings and a potato the size of a fist.

The Wanton Mee Dry also has wantons double the size of what you usually see in your local hawker stall! If you’re more of a rice person, the Longzai Braised Pork Rice is also a crowd-pleaser with its generous serving of braised pork slices, tau kwa, hard boiled egg, and thick savoury gravy.

Note: The promotion is only valid from 1st – 13th August 2017.

Unit: #02-234/235/236

Telephone: 6336 2237

4. Mee Goreng and Waffle with Ice Cream for $5.20 each at Attap House

Singaporeans are familiar with mee goreng – flavourful yellow noodles with a heap of fried seafood and vegetables. At Attap House, this local delight is served with fresh prawns and lots of sambal for that spicy tingle.

There’s nothing better than a sweet treat to end your meal off with a bang, and Attap House’s waffle with vanilla ice cream does just the trick. With a warm, gooey chocolate drizzle on a crispy waffle and creamy vanilla ice cream on the side – it’s a true party in the mouth.

Unit: #02-230A/231A/232

Telephone: 6291 2668

5. Herschel backpacks at a steal for only $52

Herschel’s bags are aesthetically pleasing while remaining functional, but they also come at a hefty price – an average of $100 to $200. That doesn’t mean you can’t own one though. If you’ve been meaning to get yourself something from Herschel, grab this chance and snag a Herschel Red Backpack from now till 9th August for only $52 (U.P. $89)

Unit: #02-160

Telephone: 6265 9210

6. Half-price off shirts from The Juba Co.

If you’re still on the hunt for the perfect outfit to wear to this year’s national day parade, you’re in luck. Limited edition designs from The Juba Co. are going for just $5.20 (U.P. $10) a shirt, but hurry – the deal is only limited to first 50 pieces. Don’t say bojio!

Unit: #02-304/304A

7. Matchy couple bracelets at Nomination Italy with 52% off your 2nd, 4th and 6th item

So jio at least 3 other friends and claim 50% off your total bill – just make sure at least 4 of you guys are of different races to enjoy this sweet deal!

10. 1-for-1 durian ice-cream at redpan

Durian lovers have a good reason to celebrate with redpan’s 1-for-1 Durian Baked Alaska ($9). The cold durian ice-cream filling complements the warm meringue, which is blow-torched for that caramelised taste. And if you’ve always been one to shun the King of Fruits, this could be the dish that might change your mind.

Note: Offer is available from Monday to Thursday, lunch and dinner only. Not valid in conjunction with on-going promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers and privileges.
