Come National Day, you’ll see how our Parade remains a hotly anticipated event as Singaporeans revolve their plans around it – whether it’s gathering round the TV screen come 5:30PM or living it up at the multiple screening parties throughout Singapore.
If you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate 9th August with your family, head to these SAFRA clubs for NDP live screenings which are packed with fun activities like music performances, craft workshops, and workout sessions.

Catch a music performance by 1023 A cappella

It’ll truly be a #tbt at SAFRA Jurong cause every activity here will be themed after an era from the 60s to the present. Relive the days when the humble mamak shops were aplenty as there’ll be a pop-up mamak stall serving classic snacks like kacang putih and ice kepal.
90’s kids who grew up on shows like Art Factory and Art Attack can also rejoice as there’ll be a 3D Merlion Craft by Tri-wall for you to bring forth your creativity.
Once you’ve had your fill, check out performances by a capella group, 1023 and contestants from the National Day Classics Remake Singing Competition.

If you wanna sweat it out while waiting for the parade to commence, head to SAFRA Punggol for a slew of adrenaline-filled workouts like Boogie Bounce Kidz’s (Parent-and-Child) trampoline exercise and FIGHT DO® Radical Fitness class.
For a much-needed perk up after these sessions, head to Studio Soraa’s workshop where you’ll customise coasters with a local motif, or Bakers Club for their NDP cookie-decorating.

Sign up for the Galaxy Jar workshop

If dramatic is your aesthetic, SAFRA Tampines’ range of DIY crafts workshops will definitely strike your fancy. There’ll be 3 workshops for you to create and keep beautiful artworks – 3D Pen Printing, Galaxy Jar and Neon Test Tube Lava Lamp.
For instance, the Galaxy Jar workshop will let you walk away with a neon piece that glows in the dark!
Do note that while the workshops are free for SAFRA members, guests will have to pay $5 for participate in them.

Regardless of how long you’ve stayed here, you’ll definitely learn something new about Toa Payoh when you take part in SAFRA Toa Payoh’s Heritage Fun Hunt*. You’ll be solving a series of clues, in teams of 2, while exploring the town’s heritage.
To max out on your heritage knowledge, marvel at the traditional performances like Rhythms Aesthetic Society’s traditional Indian dance routine and Sri Warisan’s angklung performance.

Durian party under the stars!
Durian lovers, listen up. While SAFRA Yishun will have the usual free NDP screening, SAFRA members will have an exclusive perk in the form of a full-blown durian party!
