What do Hannah Montana, a giraffe and Sandra Riley Tang have in common? They all appeared in this Deepavali-themed episode of Singaporeans Try.
In the spirit of Deepavali, we decided to try a well-loved Indian tradition: Henna Tattoos! But with this being Singaporeans Try, it isn’t that straightforward. To make things tougher, we only had one minute to do research on hennas before simultaneously drawing hennas on each other’s hands!
Drawing henna tattoos is easier said than done, especially with most of us having extremely limited experience in art. I really have to give it up to the people who do it professionally because there’s a lot of skill and precision involved.
Watch the video below to see Sandra Riley Tang’s design for our host, Keiji and how the rest of us failed.
Subscribe to our YouTube channel for your weekly dose of Singaporeans Try coming to you every Monday. But most importantly, we would like to wish all our Hindu viewers a very happy Deepavali!
