Even as a young nation, Singapore is peppered with so many iconic landmarks and historical buildings. If you only have a few days to explore the country, board the Singapore Flyer and see all these sites at one go.

With a height that’s estimated 45-storeys high, catch the panoramic view of the sunny island, be it day or night. You can even challenge yourself to recognise the island’s different monuments as you’re on board Asia’s largest observation wheel.

Update: Snag a bundle deal at $55 for 3 adults and 1 child from 1st to 31st August- find out more here.

Visiting the world’s largest giant observation wheel outside of USA

The Singapore Flyer was the world’s largest giant observation wheel from 2008 to 2014 before the USA claimed the title. Building this 165 metre-tall observation wheel wasn’t an easy feat, requiring 2.5 years and a whopping $240 million to complete. Though the title isn’t with us anymore, it’s still the world’s 2nd largest as well as Asia’s largest giant observation wheel

Since its opening, it has been hailed as a must-go for both tourists and locals. At the Flyer’s maximum height, you’ll get to see almost everything within a 45KM radius. From far-flung local monuments to neighbouring islands from Malaysia and Indonesia, that’s a whole lot to take in during a whole 30-minute revolution around the Flyer.

One-of-a-kind experiences onboard

If you’re chasing the ultimate Singaporean experience, take the Lion City’s iconic cocktail with you onboard. On the Singapore Sling Flight ($69), you’ll not only get a glass of the Singapore Sling but you’ll also get to ride on a VIP-themed capsule. Kids can also enjoy this VIP experience with a mocktail at $31/pax

An exclusive dining experience typically comes with an exclusive price tag that’s not for everyone. However, the Sky View Pavilion offers highly-rated Cantonese cuisine with atas aesthetics at an affordable price point. As you chow down, you’ll get to enjoy the sights of Gardens By The Bay and Marina Bay Sands. According to online reviews, be prepared to spend at least $50-$100/person, especially when you’re ordering fresh seafood.

Find out more about the dining schedules for Sky Dining and more details on Sky View Pavilion on the website.
