Teamsport Arena @ Suntec: New Badminton Hall In Town With 20 Courts For A Smashing Time

Teamsport Arena @ Suntec

You’re sure to have heard of the news of Singapore’s Loh Kean Yew taking first place in World Championships, or maybe even stalked read up on the guy. But competitive player or casual, you’ll know that badminton is one way to work up a good sweat. If you’re tired of fighting for court slots at your nearest sports hall, try Teamsport Arena @ Suntec instead.

Massive badminton hall with 20 courts & free-flow shuttlecock rental

Suntec City is well known to be a hub for events and conventions, but you’ll now find something quite unexpected there instead. Taking over the space of two exhibition halls is a new massive badminton court by Teamsport Arena where you can duke it out with your friends.

The hall houses 20 badminton courts complete with 5MM competition mats on a professional sport flooring system which, as avid players may love to know, helps reduce injuries. Unlike the average badminton hall, you can expect powerful air conditioning here to keep the air feeling fresh and cool. No musty smells or icky feeling on the skin here!

Bookings are priced from $15, off-peak. While pricier than your neighbourhood ActiveSG halls ($3.50 – $9.70/hour), this premium price also means that the slots are much easier to book since you won’t have to fight with what feels like a gazillion other people.

Each court also fits up to five people with the existing safe distancing restrictions, so once split, you’re looking at a reasonable price that starts from $3/pax for every hour.

Players will have to bring their own racket or borrow one from a friend, but the great news is that they also provide free-flow shuttlecock rentals from $15/person – perfect for the players that always smash their shot into oblivion.

Cause a racket at Teamsport Arena @ Suntec

Following Singapore’s largest badminton court at Expo is Teamsport Arena @ Suntec, offering accessible and spacious new courts for all shuttlers out there. Other than cycling around Singapore on your foldable bike or taking a stroll through our island’s many new parks, you can consider a couple badminton matches for a healthy meetup with your friends.

Rates:
