Woodlands Waterfront Park: Singapore’s Northernmost Park With Views of JB And A Jetty

Exploring Woodlands Waterfront Park in Singapore

Singapore may be a concrete jungle, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have our fair share of parks and nature reserves. After all, we aren’t dubbed the clean and green city for nothing.

For Northies, one nearby park you can swing by is Woodlands Waterfront Park. Located right on the edge of the Straits of Johor, this coastal park boasts unobstructed views of JB, as well as 11-hectares worth of greenery – an ideal place to breathe in some fresh air after a hard day’s work.

Catch views of Johor from the waterfront promenade

Woodlands may be dubbed as JB 2.0, but given how far North the neighbourhood is, it’s the only place where you can find unblocked views of our beloved shopping district.

Whether you’re here for a walk or a workout sesh, you can choose to walk down the 1.5KM waterfront promenade or mosey down the trails winding through the park. Either way, you’ll be treated to gorgeous sea views everywhere you turn, which is especially beautiful when the skies are painted pink and orange during sunrise and sunsets in Singapore.

If you’re here with the kids, bring them over to the playground. Situated right behind the promenade, it features high elements like bridges and towers. Budding daredevils will have tons of fun clambering around this playground that’s reminiscent of the Ninja Warrior course – albeit a toned-down version.

Walk down the longest jetty in Singapore

Woodlands Waterfront Park is also home to a 400M-long jetty, which is the longest jetty in Singapore. Fun fact: it’s also the furthest point on the mainland, making it the closest place you can go to being in 2 countries at one time.

If you’re feeling peckish during your visit, swing by the Rasa Istimewa Waterfront Restaurant. Situated right smack in the middle of the jetty, this casual restaurant serves various seafood dishes like steamed fish and prawns, as well as Malay delicacies like satay

As the dishes are served tze char-style, be sure to bring your fam along to savour everything this place has to offer.

Address: 6A Admiralty Road West, Singapore 757445
