Dino Kart 2.0 at Changi Festive Village 2021
Go-karting. I don’t know what it is about it, but the sport seems to have taken Singapore by storm as of late, with circuits like The Karting Arena popping up across the country. This time, it’s Dino Kart 2.0 – a futuristic indoor go-kart course at Changi Airport.
If it sounds familiar, that’s because we got the first taste of Dino Kart at last year’s Changi Festive Village – and boy, are we glad it’s back and bigger than ever.
Singapore’s first indoor go-kart circuit
Dino Kart 2.0 will be happening from now till 2nd January 2022 as part of this year’s rendition of Changi Festive Village. The circuit’s been brought into Terminal 4’s Departure Hall, making it SG’s only indoor go-kart circuit at the moment.
Go-karting at the airport? Pre-Covid era me would have been too stunned to speak.
There are two circuits available: Pro and Novice; the latter being suitable for children. Both tracks meander through the hall’s check-in rows, and it’s probably the only time you’ll ever get to have this much fun at the airport without getting dragged away by security.

And don’t think this is your run-of-the-mill carnival course either. Riders will be able to go up to 24KM/H on the electric go-karts, giving even Speedy Gonzales a run for his money.
The Pro circuit (for ages 13 and up) is 400M with the faster go-karts, while the Novice circuit (for ages nine and up) is shorter with a maximum speed of 18KM/H.
Both tracks are flanked by neon lights and lit-up dino cutouts. Fun bops will be being played out loud to get you into the zone too.
If you’re already sweating it out over safety, rest assured you’re in good hands. Hardy helmets, along with hairnets, will be provided for all participants to wear while zooming around. Everything will also be properly sanitised after every round.
Do note that you’ll have to come dressed appropriately – this means covered shoes only and no loose clothing.

Whether you’d like to show off your speedy karting skills or get some first-time “driving” experience, Dino Kart 2.0 is something fun for everyone.
To make things easier, there’ll also be an on-demand service bus from Terminal 3 that’ll get you to the circuit. Transport is free for Changi Rewards members or $2 for non-members, though signing up will cost you nothing.
